What inspires women to lead and develop?
parents, children, siblings, friends,
the past, the present,
struggles that have been overcome,
battles that have been won,
a vision, a mission,
a call from God . . .
Each of us has a motivation to do what we are doing.
For some it is the voice of an elementary school teacher saying, "Some day you are going to be somebody important." For others it is a parent whispering (or shouting), "You can do it!" For many, it is a friend or a spouse cheering us on with a resounding, "You go, Girl!" Or it is our children determining (or threatening), "I want to be like you!"
Ultimately, though, it must be the Spirit of God who sets us on the path and guides us in the direction best for us. It is the Voice of God which speaks to our hearts and says, not just "Do!", but "BE!" It is when who we are becomes what we do that we are truly inspired!
So, what inspires women to lead and develop?
