Our Beauty miniconference was . . . to be mushy . . . beautiful! The speakers,  young ladies from our community who have aspired to rise above, spent the evening inspiring others to do the same. You can't beat that!

The message of the evening: Do not let anyone in this life rob you of the joy you can experience in seeing yourself through the eyes of God. As one speaker said, "[Your critics] have human eyes. Their eyes are are inferior to God's eyes!"

Remember, as the lyrics to Little Girl tell us: 

"When you get up in the morning, 

look yourself in the mirror, 

and say, 'I love me!'"
